Time of arrival and time of departure
In order to attend the Expedition you MUST be there the entire time from start to finish. You need to arrive at the ranch no later than 4:30 p.m. on August 21st, 2018. Which means arriving in the Denver Airport no later than 2:00 p.m. The Expedition concludes late Saturday night. For the return flight, you can leave as early on Sunday morning as you desire. It’s a 2.5 hour drive from The Ranch to the Denver airport. So take that into consideration when making your return flight reservation. Some men are catching flights that leave Denver at 9:00 a.m. which means a 5:00 a.m. departure from the Ranch. In order to attend each man is required to attend the Expedition from beginning to end.
1. Arrange flight to Denver Airport, and then drive out to ranch
Purchase your own flight to the Denver Airport on August 21st that arrives before 2:00 p.m. You will need to meet up with the other men arriving at the Denver airport no later than 3:00 p.m. to make the drive to the ranch. Drive time from Denver Airport to the ranch is 2 and a half hours. Let us know your flight information and we will put you in touch to carpool with a group of men arriving at a similar time. Your team will rent and split the cost all on your own. Drive time from the Denver Airport to the ranch is 2 and a half hours.
2. Arrange flight to Colorado Springs Airport, and then drive out to ranch
Purchase your own flight to the Colorado Springs Airport. Be sure to get a flight that arrives no later than 3:00 p.m. so that you can rent your own car and arrive to the ranch by 4:30 p.m. Drive time from Colorado Springs Airport to the ranch is 1 hour. There are not many men that choose this option because the flights are more expensive, so most likely you would be on your own for your car rental.
3.Arrange to drive to the ranch from Colorado or States adjacent to Colorado
If you are in Colorado, the adjacent states, or simply up for a great road trip, click on the link below for directions. Please allow plenty of time for the trip and arrive at 4:30 p.m. on August 21st.
We recommend that you prepare for the Expedition by reading John Eldredge’s book “Wild at Heart”. The book can be ordered on Amazon. Please read the entire book before you come. If you have read it before and it has been some time since you last read it, we ask that you re-read it again before coming.
Also, if you want additional material to work through, we suggest working through the Field Manual with Wild at Heart—it is the best workbook we have seen for helping a man recover his heart.
